Award of the silver label "Sustainable development, sport is committed®"
by the French National Olympic Sports Committee (CNOSF)
the CNOSF jury granted us, on July 20 2023, the Label "Sustainable development, sport is committed®" Silver level, for the organization of the event. This Label certifies that we place our action in the perspective of sustainable development of sport and wish to promote our eco-responsible approach with the general public and your partners.

15 eco-responsible commitments of the French Ministry of Sports
Rowing as a natural sport must protect and preserve its playground.
Championship’s organization will be organized in line with UN and the Olympic Committee objectives of sustainable development, in order to control and limit its environmental impact.
Some examples of applications:
Greenhouse gas: accommodation close to the competition site, to encourage walking, cycling or public transport by bus, boat, in order to reduce the carbon impact.
Resources consumption: cleaning the site, use of recyclable packaging or containers, to reduce waste and ensure efficient recycling, rational use of water.
Sea: respecting the marine fauna and flora by controlling the limits of the evolution areas, by using mooring systems for the buoys which have a limited impact on the seagrass beds and the sea floor.

Posidonia (Posidonia oceanica) naturally protect the coastline. Posidonia are aquatic flowering plants that play an essential role in the Mediterranean.
